Communicate and Track Tasks
Effective communication prevents most assignment issues we typically encounter.
- Communicate with regular meetings: see our Recurring Meeting Agenda Template.
- Establish your preferred communication platform(s): such as Chat, Slack, Email, Text, etc
- Track tasks in a project management platform, like Asana or ClickUp. Or, use our template in Docs or Sheets. This is especially important in a remote environment, so you can collaborate as needed.
Keep on top of the workflows with Tools of the Trade
The right tool can help solve asynchronous work challenges. We recommend using:
- Loom: it’s a great free tool for asynchronous work. Use Loom to record a video of your screen and your audio to outline a SOP, ask a question, provide training, etc.
- A password vault to protect your passwords and share them with various team members.
