Freedom Maker Appreciation

Many clients ask how to show appreciation to their Freedom Makers. While gifts aren't expected, here are a few ideas. Our My Favorite Things tool helps in learning preferences.

If you’d rather pay a bonus or commission directly to your Freedom Maker, you need to provide the required tax forms.

If you only have their email:

• A gift card (Starbucks, Amazon, GrubHub, favorite restaurant, etc).
• An e-card to tell them how much you appreciate them.
• A small donation to their favorite charity.
• Enroll them in a professional development class.

If you have their mailing address:

• Branded item from your company. Our Freedom Makers love to be part of the team!
• Flowers, live plant, or a gift basket.
• A gift of their liking, such as a candle, tea, lotion, book, etc.

Common Recognition Days

• Dates vary

  • Your Freedom Maker’s birthday (ask them if they want to share it).
  • Your Assignment’s anniversary. We’ll remind you with an email.
  • Your company’s anniversary.

• Special Dates

  • March: International Women’s Day (March 8).
  • April: Administrative Professionals Day (the Wednesday of the last full week in April).
  • May: Military Spouse Appreciation Day (always the Friday before Mother’s Day); and Virtual Assistant Day (always the third Friday).
  • November: Veterans Day (November 11).
  • December: FMVS emails clients the option to give a holiday bonus, if they choose.
